On a bright, sunny day resplendent with Fall colors, members of the Holler
Family, their friends, coworkers, and a church congregation met at New Bethany
Baptist Church Cemetery to honor the passing of Henry Tate Holler. Known
simply as "Tate Holler", he touched many lives. Only 8 days
prior to his death, Tate met and shook hands with cousins from across the
United States who had gathered at the Holler Family Reunion 2006 at St.
John's Lutheran Church in Statesville, NC; many of those same cousins
met again at the church, this time to bid him farewell.
