Holler Family Reunion 2006 - October 15th, 2006, Statesville, NC

The Holler Family Reunion 2006 was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Statesville, NC October, 15th, 2006 (the third Sunday in October).  The church is located at 740 N. Center St. in Statesville, and the Reunion itself commenced shortly after Noon. All participants were warmly invited to attend the Lutheran church service earlier that morning and some of them did.

The absolute greatest difference that set the Holler Family Reunion 2006 apart from all others is that it joined together groups of smaller Holler contingents which had been conducting their own local Holler reunions for a number of years. Usually, these meetings had been held within their own, or a closely neighboring state. This time, however, we invited all those state groups to get together in one place— a “summit” reunion, so to speak.  Holler descendants from North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Connecticut, Florida, Texas, and California gathered in one place to meet the other Descendants of John Holler at the Holler Family Reunion 2006.
